SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am in the middle of setting up a new Sharepoint environment for a client and although I have customised the masterpage and css for the site I have not made any changes to the Suite Bar links or navigation area. Last week though I noticed that the font color of the Suite Bar links and the background of the navigation/login div has changed colour.

It's almost as though the theme has changed somehow and then stuck for those elements, I have made no changes to the CSS which could be affecting these. I have tried deleting and recreating the site collection but it is still incorrect when recreated.

The Office365 and Sharepoint Admin Centers all have the correct colours, but any Site/SiteCollection below them seem to be picking this colour theme up somehow.

Is there something simple I have missed?

Have you tried going to Change The Look in the site settings to select a new theme? –  John Chapman May 20 at 16:17

Repeatedly, the bar is the correct colour but the font colour is incorrect and will not change regardless of which theme is set, along with the background to the login/settings div to the right. I have deleted and recreated the entire site collection but the problem is the same, which is what has me puzzled! –  markhlong May 21 at 17:34

I just saw the same thing...I think it must have something to do with SharePoint online? It's almost as if they changed their bass CSS and didn't tell anyone. I believe mine changed yesterday or today, I can't remember. –  user27038 May 21 at 21:57

I'm seeing the same thing too. Don't see a way to change it either... –  John Chapman May 22 at 20:04
